REJOICE IN THE LORD

The word Rejoice holds such a special place in my heart. Years ago, God placed someone incredible in my life— Jessica Janzen. Becoming her family's nanny was one of the greatest blessings I could have ever asked for, leading me to dedicate the Rejoice In The Lord Trucker Hat to her.  

Jessica is someone who radiates pure joy. After experiencing the devastating loss of their son, Lewiston, they chose to turn unimaginable pain into purpose by creating the remarkable charity Love for Lewiston, which supports families, helps others, and brings awareness to the SMA community. Her strength, faith, and outlook on life continues to inspire so many people, especially me.

One phrase Jessica is known for is: “Bring the Joy.”
Such a simple statement, yet so powerful.

No matter how hard the week has been, how many things have gone wrong, or how overwhelming life feels, we always have a choice. We can focus on every frustration and setback, or we can choose joy. The definition of rejoice is "to feel or show great joy and happiness." Sometimes that joy can be found in the smallest moments, like your morning coffee tasting extra good, or a good conversation with a friend that fulfilled you.

For me, I choose to rejoice in the Lord. He has strengthened me, answered my prayers, and reminded me that even in moments of uncertainty, I can fully trust in His timing, purpose, and the journey He has set before me. I also rejoice in the people He has placed in my life.

So wherever life takes you today chose joy.
